William D. Berger

Professional Profile

Bill Berger is a Senior Partner and Project Manager for the Performance and Reliability Group. He is directly responsible for the management of customer service, sales, and marketing programs for several clients in the machine tool industry.

William's previous experience encompasses many facets of human resource development and manufacturing. Thirty years of experience in both academia and industry give Bill a unique understanding of industrial theory and its practical application in the real world.

Prior to joining PRG, Bill was on the staff of St. Clair County Community College, where he taught the machine tool trade. He was responsible for the organization and administration of over two hundred apprentices for the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. During his tenure, he also created and developed many customized employee training programs for a number of businesses, and was instrumental in the development and implementation of government grants for employee training through SCCCC.

Bill has strong community ties. He served twelve years on the Marysville School District Board of Education; he is a member of the Blue Water chapter of the American Society of Quality Control (ASQC) and serves on the Manufacturing Tooling Technology Advisory Board for Ferris State University. He has worked closely with many local professional and community groups in providing education and training.

Mr. Berger has a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ferris State University, and is certified by the State of Michigan to teach at the intermediate, secondary and post-secondary levels.
