Michael L. Clancy

Michael Clancy is a Senior Partner of the Performance and Reliability Group. He is responsible for leading total quality system implementation projects for major client organizations.

Mr. Clancy has twenty-six years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, manager and executive with P& L responsibility. His background includes assignments in automotive, machine tool, precision tooling and aerospace/defense industries. He has had total responsibility for the start up of a major manufacturing facility (Kelsey Hayes) which became a showcase and model for all future KH facilities. Additionally, Michael's experience has included small, large, private and publicly held corporations.

Michael's expertise encompasses business strategic planning, organization development, training, manufacturing operations management, product launch coordination, materials management and quality operating systems.

Mr. Clancy has an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from Saginaw Valley State University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Engineering from Oakland University. He is President of the Board of Directors of the Plastics Learning Centers, Chairman of the Michigan Plastics Industry Roundtable, and Executive Council Member of the Oakland County School-to-work Partnership. Michael is also a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the Society of Plastics Engineers.
